Sensory Needs Assessment

Support with completing an independent expert Vision-Rehabilitation/ Habilitation Assessment for Adult & Children(CVI – Visual Impaired) to support statutory/social-care needs

We provide:

  • Comprehensive functional vision & rehabilitation training programmes (mobility, daily living skills, reading/writing/access, correspondence, tenancy risk)
  • Professional analysis regarding unmet statutory duties under the Care Act 2014, Equality Act 2010, etc
  • Review of relevant historical and statutory documentation
  • Preparation of a formal expert report suitable for submission to relevant authorities, ombudsman, or legal processes

Orientation & Mobility Training

We offer comprehensive training programs for using long canes, and other mobility aids to enhance other mobility aids to enhance independence for both adults and children who are blind or partially sighted. We will assist you in progressing toward the established criteria for guide dog eligibility.
